Spook-tacular!

I wanted to honor the Queen for the Day on Splitcoaststampers today. She is Shelly aka yo sam. I cased this card of Shelly's. I found these cute, little pumpkins at Wal-Mart in a set for $.97. They are Studiog. I stamped a couple of them twice and popped up. Ran a couple of panels through the Cuttlebug herringbone embossing folder. Finished it off with the sentiment, ribbon, and gemstones.

Happy Anniversary

Anne Harmon is the hostess this week for the Stampin' B's Design Team and she asked we make an anniversary card. Why? Anne is celebrating her wedding anniversary today so a BIG congrats to her.
I should have made mine RED because that is her favorite color. Inking in Red is her blog if you would like to wish her a big, happy anniversary.

This was a really simple card to make. I stamped the beautiful heart from Mark's Finest Papers set called Hearts, Hearts, Hearts three times. Stacked them one on top of the other. I am using my punch around the page (double loop) by Martha Stewart and my all time favorite Cuttlebug embossing folder-Textile, Just added a ribbon and pearl and that's it.

Back to watercolor

What fun to go back to watercolor. That is the first way I learned to color when I starting creating cards. Then, a while back Copics came along and I got hooked on them but I still love watercoloring.
I noticed a card Dawn Burnworth made to honor Leslie Miller (tutorial) as she leaves Flourishes  and  and I decided that would be fun, soooo here it is. This is also in honor of Leslie, a person with super talent.

I got out my Tombow markers, water, watercolor paper, and brush and away I went. I'm using a Flourishes stamp set called A Year in Flowers 2  (May Iris). This is for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Blog Challenge FTTC134. You can use water images, water elements, do watercoloring, water mist, or color wash. Just be sure water is included.

Ewe Make Me Smile

Good Morning...well, it has gone from me sitting at a ballgame in the steaming 95 degree heat on Saturday to a very chilly today. It is supposed to be a high of 65 today. All this came after many inches of rain from Tropical Depression Lee hitting my area this past weekend. I was so thankful to get the rain as we have been very dry.

This week the Tuesday Throwdown team was supplied with some wonderful digis from Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamp & More. The challenge #65  is 3 patterned papers, 2 buttons, and one ribbon.  I love sheep so I immediately chose this cutie called Love Ewe.

I used some nestabilities to frame my sheep and made my clouds by using a circle scallop nestabilitie I cut in half and sponged around the edge of the scallop for the clouds. Of course, if you have a punch that is scalloped, you can do the same. Colored the image with Copics,  punched a little butterfly in a third dp, popped up my panel and that finished it. I love that smile. :-)

Hope you'll come along and join us this week.
